Custom Stoneworks & Design proudly uses Hanover paving products. • Pavers have a minimum compressive strength of 8,000 lbs. per square inch. Compared to pour-in-place concrete (with an average of 3,000 lbs. per square inch), pavers are almost 3 times stronger. • Pavers are the ideal product for freeze/thaw environments. With proper installation, this product provides a hard wearing flexible surface. The joints between the pavement allow the pavers to move without cracking. • Pavers can be "unzipped" to allow for easy repair or easy access to utilities and never tell the area was tampered with. Other products like poured/stamped concrete, asphalt, mortored jobs need to be removed with jackhammer and you can always tell the area was repaired due to color and consistency. • Create unique paving designs. Pavers come in many styles and colors. In addition, stamped concrete requires expansion joints every 10 feet or so, which can be very distracting. • Smooth surface allows for easy snow removal. Pavers come in dark colors to help melt snow faster.
